LCM led the project and construction management effort for CSU East Bay’s first fully electric building on campus.


The project consists of a new 2-story, 22,000-square foot state-of-the-art facility. When complete, the facility will house a broad range of student resources including cutting-edge research labs, a Technology Collaboration Center, STEM lab and flexible learning classroom spaces. The building is designed to achieve net zero energy with future plans for photovoltaic array installation. The facility houses the Green Biome Institute laboratory and is designed to LEED Silver equivalency.

LCM's team led the construction delivery of the new CORE Library Building complex at CSU East Bay.


The project is consists of a new 3-story, 100,000-square foot library facility in the central part of the East Bay Campus. This 21st century library will serve as a Hub for academic achievement, collaboration, and innovation. This Construction Manager at Risk (CMAR) project was completed and opened its doors in Fall of 2022 and is one of the busiest libraries in the CSU system. The new CORE Library building achieved LEED Gold certification and Zero Energy Ready.

Firm History

Lee Construction Management (LCM) was founded in 2014 to provide construction project management services to clients across the public agency and private sectors. LCM's first project management contract began in Orange County, and the firm has since steadily expanded its footprint to support clients throughout the San Francisco Bay Area and the greater Orange County region. Today, LCM operates from offices in San Jose and Westminster.
